Heifer Ranch, here we come!

| Location: Storm Lake, IA 50588, USA
Hello! I'm Hannah Campbell, a graphic designer in BVU's Marketing and Communications office. I have the privilege of advising (with Courtney Berg, BVU's assistant controller) the AWOL trip to Heifer Ranch in Perryville, Arkansas. Courtney, me and eight students will drive to Arkansas on Sunday, April 1, and participate in the organization's alternative spring break program. We'll return on April 6, hopefully with a new perspective on the global issues of poverty and hunger and an enthusiasm for making a difference!

Heifer Ranch is one of Heifer International's learning centers. For those who aren't familiar with Heifer International, it is an organization which works with communities to end hunger and poverty and care for the earth. While we're at Heifer Ranch, we'll take part in service activities and group simulations to learn more about hunger and poverty problems around the world.

I can't wait to share our experience with you!
