Wow, has it been quite a day! We flew out of Omaha this afternoon and landed in Cali at about 6pm. Traveling all day has wore me out. Flights went really well considering I'm not a huge fan of flying. This wasn't my first time flying, but I was fascinated by the varieties of people in the airports! Some were very pleasant, like the lady I sat next to on the plane and others not so pleasant. Everyone was so excited to finally be off to Disney; especially Jerry & Ben.
After arriving we got settled in to our hotel (which is two blocks from the park) and went out for a quick sight-see. We explored Downtown Disney for a bit. I described it as a carnival... That never ends! Anyone can just walk around Downtown Disney for free. I thought that was pretty neat. The fireworks were a great way to end our first night.
Tomorrow will be another exciting day. We have a workshop with David Koenig in the Disneyland park. David Koenig is the author of 'Mouse Tales'. I'm so excited & I don't really know what to expect as I haven't been to either of the Disney parks!
It's not yet 11pm and I'm ready for bed already. I'm sure I will have awesome stories to share tomorrow! Goodnight!
