After lunch, we all headed to devotionals where we learned about the armor of God and how to deal with angry feelings in a constructive way. We had great questions and heard lots of stories. We ended our prayer time with a few parachute games. Ken led us in different activities that helped us learn more about teamwork and listening skills. We got quite a few laughs when we were pulled under by hungry alligators, when Jerrold almost flew up in the air with the flying parachute, and when cats were trying to catch the mice under the parachute!
We had way too much fun playing in the gym with the kids - so many giggles and smiles were shared! Turissa and Abhib helped the kids hold the parachute up while they sat under it!
Aaron, Stacy, Leo, and Abhib all held the parachute tight while they listened to Ken's instruction. We all flew the parachute up high when Ken counted to three! Caitlin got Miss Victoria for a picture. We all brought the parachute down low when Ken told us too.Elijah was quite the cat for the cat and mouse activity! He made his cat face for the camera! . Megan and Aaron posed for a quick picture after our activity.
