22 Pounds, 19 Days, & 1 Adventure of a Lifetime

In 1 day, 6 of BV's students & 2 faculty will be jet setting to South America. This group is venturing to Chile, but to a very unique area. We have the privilege to work with a Sub-Antarctic Biocultural Program, that is sponsored by the University of North Texas, the Universidad de Magellanes, and the Chilean Institue of Ecology and Biodiversity, in Cape Horn Chile.

To put this in perspective, Here is a map of South America...
... and here is where we will be spending a majority of our time.

We will have the unique opportunity to learn about how this Biosphere Reserve works, and what their research, educational practices, and conservation practices are like.

Here is the team you will be hearing from: Laura Page, Tes Posekany, Jenny Welch, Kayla Hartmann, Steph Puhrmann, Makensie Brown, Dr. Melinda Coogan, & Dr. James Hampton.
We are allowed 22 pound for this 19 day excursion, & we hope to update you on our adventures, how we're growing as a team, & how we're growing as individuals.

See you tomorrow, Chile!
