This morning and afternoon we strolled around Venice again. We stopped by the church of St. Moses, and we also went to the free museum showing various types of lutes, guitars, violins, etc. Hey, when you think of having a good time in Venice, I bet two works jump instantly to mind: "Lute Museum."
We then had lunch at a restaurant overlooking one of the large canals, where we enjoyed the sea breeze and scenery. In addition to seafood and tiramisu, Venice is also known for risotto, so we got a risotto dish with green beans and arugula. It was quite nice.
After wandering around some more, we headed back to the car (which required another boat ride and bus ride), and are now chilling out in the hotel for the rest of the evening. Tomorrow, we need to get up pretty early to return the rental car and make our way to the cruise ship.
I don't think there's wifi available much on the ship, so I probably won't be able to update the blog much for the next seven days. But check back every so often, and I'll post updates from the cruise adventure as soon as we're back on land for the second half of our full European trip.
Here's a photo of our lunch spot. More to come, in about a week!
