Towers and Dungeons and Barking Dogs

Today, we walked a lot.

I mean a LOT. My feet will never forgive me.

We also, however, had a lot of fun in and around London, including a cheesy but amusing visit to the London Dungeon, a pretty spectacular trip to the Tower of London, a ride on the great ferris wheel known as the Eye, a brief visit to Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, a lot of time on the Underground, and a Very Special Tour of Highgate.

Yup. Lots of walking.

For me, the Tower was a real high point. It was a delight to tour the exhibits on this gorgeous warm day!

Oh, and sometimes, we sat down for a bit.

P.S. There were some marvelous wire sculptures of the royal menagerie all over the Tower grounds. Neat!

P.P.S. Pro tip: wear your rain gear to the London Dungeon. You WILL get wet.

P.P.P.S. Feet hurt now!
