Sky Adventure and more!

So I know that I am a few days behind on blogging. We have done so much in the past few days. So on our third day in Costa Rica and our Second Day in Tortuguero we went on a Morning boat ride and afternoon boat ride. We had to get up pretty early to go for the morning but it was very cool to watch as the rainforest came a live. We got to see lots of howler monkeys as they woke up and started there day. We also saw lots of different types of birds. On our afternoon boat ride we got to see lots of turtles our sun bathing as well as a crocodile, and other animals even a spider that was a little to close for comfort! The morning of our fourth day we were able to sleep in and just like my mother had read the howler monkeys went off at 530 am. Lucky for me i had my i-pod and was able to sound them out!

We left Tortuguero for our trip to Arenal. It took us about 4 hour trip. For the most part i slept, but we made a really cool stop were we were able to get out of the bus and walk on to a bridge and take up close pictures of iguanas that were laying in the tree tops sun bathing. It was very cool, however being on the bridge as trucks and cars were driving by was a little scary, the bridge would shake hard core when a semi was getting on, wasn't to fond of that.

 When we got to Arenal we got settled into our new rooms and then we took of for Tabacon Hot Springs, it was very relaxing and fun. They even had a slide that was a lot of fun to go down. After swimming we had dinner at the hot springs, it was by far the best meal that we have had to today. This morning we got up and we on a hike around Arenal volcano. It was a very nice hike, we got to see where the volcano had spit rocks to as well as walk about on hardened lava. Being the kids that we are most of us started playing the lava game were you werent allowed to touch the ground! That was fun but at the end it was very hard to get around cause there wasn't many rocks to step on.

 After that we went to lunch and then off to the sky tram and sky trek!!! It was so much fun! it took about an hour to get down once you got up to the top! There were 8 different lines that you had to use to get down, the longest line was about a half a mile and you got up to speeds of 55 miles and hour and it took you about 45 seconds to get from start to finish! It was by far the best thing i have ever done. I loved it and if i could do it again i would! As for tonight we are getting ready to head into town for dinner and shopping and then tomorrow we are White Water Rafting!!!
