Monday :)

Today we started wrapping up the projects students had been working on. Early last week we assigned student projects. For these projects, every student had to pick a topic about Korea and prepare a five paragraph paper and a 10 (ish) minute presentation. We gave students time every day last week, but we realized on Friday most of them were not close to being done.

We had a plan for class today, but knew that it could be altered. After figuring out where exactly each student was in terms of getting their project complete, we decided to give them a big chunk of the morning to work on these projects. By the end of the day, most of them were done with everything and were ready to present. Four students gave there presentation, and most of them were very well done.

For lunch today, we ate with the principal and the English faculty at the school. After eating, we were invited to his office, where we were given a cup of coffee. While I don't like coffee, the gesture was nice and it was good to know they were interested in us and appreciated our presence at the school.

After class, Inez and I went to a near by town, to go shopping one final time. It was a huge success. I was able to get the last of the souvenirs I wanted. Inez was able to buy her soda and snacks she wanted. Before heading back, we stopped by Lotteria and ate burgers and by Baskin Robins for some ice cream. Our final stop was back at Lotteria to grab a burger for Molly.

It was a good day and I have finally found what I wanted to get for everyone. I am ready to come home, but I am still looking forward to finishing out the next few days with the students.
