I'm ready! Let's Go!

25 days and I will be on my way to California for the Storytelling with Disney Interim trip.  I am absolutely excited.  I've never been to either Disneyland or Disneyworld so this will be a totally new experience for me!  I'm probably going to be like a little kid again, running around super excited and what not.

I guess I don't really know what to expect other than magic.  I'm supposed to learn how to tell a story through the ideas of Walt Disney.  I think this will be exciting as well get to see some of the 'behind the scenes' things.  It will be a bit different than a normal vacation, I'm sure.  One of my course advisers, Jerry Johnson, will be sure that we take notice to all the details that Walt Disney wanted used to increase success.  There are only 5 students going this year so we will have plenty of learning time!

I can't wait to see the princesses.  I've told my mom before that if college doesn't work out for me, I'm going to go to Disneyworld to be a princess.  While we are there, we get to spend time with Jim Korkis (Disney Historian).  I've met him before and he think this could be possible.  I'm going to hunt all the princesses down and take pictures with them.

Although I'm excited to go to, both, Disneyworld and Disneyland, I am not excited to pack.  I am absolutely awful at packing and always think I need to take more than necessary (big surprise).  I need to spend some time sorting what to take with.  We will be so busy that I'm told to take good walking shoes and comfortable clothes.  If I'm going to be in warm weather, I want to wear flip flops!

I can't wait for some Disney magic!
