As Dr. Goodfriend stated, I am very excited about this coming January in England and Romania on the (hopefully not) bloody search for Dracula. This trip may be the most interesting one I've been on, because 1) there are a lot of people I didn't know very well before this fall and our prep class and 2) it's such a different location. I've previously traveled to China, Greece, and Turkey through BVU, but all those places kind of make sense (we even met fellow Iowans in China!) But Romania? What a cool opportunity! Travel has been a unseen but majorly awesome opportunity I've had here--have to make my last year count!
Basing our travels a bit from Bram Stoker's Dracula and the historical persona of Vlad Tepes, we'll be spending four days in England and eight days in Romania, seeing sites such as the Black Church and Castle Dracula with some odds and ends of Stonehedge and the like... but I don't want to give too much away! Check us out here again in January to hear (and hopefully see, if I can get technology to cooperate with me) more!
